Mankind's bane
Today am only a mere reflection of what I was, my intuition kept me afloat that this was bound to happen with the rise of mankind. Sadly this is what planet earth contemplates each day. At the end of it all, any form of pollution and recklessness all adds up to nothing more than death and disease. When the grip of an apocalypse ever draws closer nothing really retains it's known allure not even the luxurious Lamborghini. It suddenly becomes a reality check that life and all the finer things therein is but an illusion, without proper stewardship of our planet. And that no level of human understanding can unravel the rage of nature. I've always believed that time isn't exactly quantifiable, so basically we have no idea in what time and age we really are existing. We therefore cannot fully understand what lies beneath the veil, it's correct to say we are lost, we just found ourselves in a 'souped up' realm. We pretend to understand the cycle of life and seasons alike, pure fallacy none of the above required any level of scientific intervention. In a previous blog I compared the world we live in to a single cell in a human's body, the most vivid imagery ever. How then can inhabitants of a single cell claim proficient knowhow of the entire body. Mankind struggles to make new discoveries with each passing day, it means science just tries to unfold latent phenomena. Sure enough somebody must have put all the good stories from varying scientists into place. Could be God created us with the ability to demystify things and He sits there watching how hard we work to discover them, which I believe to be true. Or we simply working contrary to His will, wanting to remain dismissive and electing to understand things our own way. Our understanding goes only as much as we are allowed to know. And each time we question God, it's a probable recipe for disaster. We are very brief inhabitants but our short lived endeavours often comes at a cost. For the short time we have been in our makeshift planet, we have already produced significant damage. Contaminated water bodies, emitted huge amounts of pollutants to the atmosphere, destroyed ecosystems and wiped out plant and animal species. We can do better than that but should we fail it'll be to our own peril. The water levels are first rising, as a result of Arctic ice sheets gradually melting and by now you must have known they hold in excess of 70% of the planet's freshwater. The carbon emissions is quite alarming. The globe will first become very warm since the co2 will trap the solar energy, flooding will follow pronto. Soon the temperatures will drop, the whole earth covered in ice directly reflecting back sun rays, a period of ice age will set in, we shall have been wiped out by then. This is the armageddon in waiting, fortunately we are presented with an opportunity to avert it. Let's all be good guardians and live the life the very way nature intended. It won't be a question of how nature will strike back but when it'll actually occur.
